Why? This Mobile Privacy Policy, in combination with other relevant privacy notices that we provide to you (e.g., pursuant to financial privacy laws), inform you of the policies and practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of any personal information that we and our service providers collect from or about users in connection with KS Bank, Inc.'s mobile application (the "application" or "App").
The App requests access to information stored on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), including but not limited to location, contacts, camera, IP address, cookies, or other information provided by you in connection with your use of the App to enrich and simplify your own user experience and improve our services, as well as provide additional security to protect your account. 

It is important for you to understand that:
  • Before granting access to this information, you will be prompted to give the application that permission,
  • If you do not wish to grant that permission, you may decline,
  • If you later change your mind, those permissions can be updated in your device's settings.
We use your personal information collected through the mobile application to respond to your requests as submitted through the App, to provide you the services you request, and to help serve you better. We use your personal information, in connection with the App to:
  • facilitate the creation of, and secure and maintain your account;
  • identify you as a legitimate user in our system;
  • provide improved administration of the services provided;
  • provide the services you request;
  • improve the quality of experience when you interact with the App; or
  • send you e-mail or SMS text notifications, such as security, transaction, or support and maintenance alerts

  • comply with applicable laws, lawful requests and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities;
  • protect our, your, or others' rights, privacy, safety or property;
  • audit our internal processes for compliance with legal and contractual requirements and internal policies;
  • enforce the terms and conditions that govern the services provided; and
  • prevent, identify, investigate and deter fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical or illegal activity, including cyberattacks and identity theft.

The application information is retained in accordance with state and federal record retention laws. Please contact us to determine timeframes for your personal stored information and if that information may be deleted.
